Hey Guys,
Was wondering if anyone could offer any instruction or advice on plow installation for their Zforce 500 or 800.

I have a 2016 Z800 EX EPS which I just purchased.
I also purchased a Cabelas ATV/UTV snow plow with universal mounting bracket.

I'm really looking for tips as-to where I should bolt on the mounting bracket?
I started to remove the factory skid plates and then thought: why not ask my fellow owners?  :)

I took some time and thoroughly searched the forums, but didn't find much that was helpful.
Any tips would be appreciated. Pics or video are even better!  ;)

Cheers

I have not done it on this model but I would offer a little piece of advise, you want your winch to pulling at as much of a vertical angle as possible. That may help determine a little where you are mounting the plow set up if it is universal. If the pull is too horizontal you will burn the winch out quick and be putting a lot of stress on things.

And...save your wet clutch...always push snow in low range. They also make a fairhead with a larger lower roller for plows so the cable lasts longer.

Thanks for the replies so far guys - much appreciated!

I will look into the fairlead you described NMKawierider and follow the advice to use low gear when plowing.
Will also keep in mind the mount point advice you gave REDRIDER.

WIll continue to look out for other replies,

Cheers
