Can't tell.

This is an image of the kit for 2016 and earlier. Later kits have different front signals.

The switch: Part number 7000-151500

Why not just have the dealer order you what you need? They're cheap enough and plug and play.

Saw those as well.

I went ahead and ordered it through the local dealer, $25.  Won't kill me if it isn't right.  Didn't order the flasher yet, since I'm not sure if it has one or not.

The flasher might already be installed from the factory.

Mine was.

The flasher might already be installed from the factory.

It was, found it!.  I have 3 open plugs under the dash.  Two are identical, and 5-6 wires which I'm almost certain go to the front/rear signal lamps should be based on the coloring.  Don't know why there are two of them.  There's another with a red plug, which I don't know what that is for.  I'll post a pic tomorrow.

So this is what I have under the dash.  Like I said, two of these are identical.  Makes me wonder if one is meant for the hazards.

What's the red plug for?  Accessories?

I believe you are correct; turns signal and hazards.

My  hazards switch has a weak connection inside, and sometimes only lights up the left blinker, so I have to use the right turn signal  switch in tandem to get hazards to work properly :-)

I'll get around to replacing the switch eventually.

As for the red plug:

I see 4 wires: Brown, brown/black, green, and purple, but I may be wrong(blurry pix). I could not find that combination on the wiring diagram.

The weird thing is my hazard switch is hooked to something under the dash.  Obviously it doesn't do anything other than light up the hazard indicator in the dash when I hold it down.  It almost feels like an off/momentary-on switch.

I'll have to take a closer look to the hazard wiring.

Switch is here.  $26 from the dealer, which included tax.  This is the one with the sumitomo plug.  Plugs right in.  The flasher is under the hood on the right side.  Have to take out the front storage tub to see it.  It's mounted forward of the glove box on the frame.

I'm still waiting on my LED flasher lights to see if this all is truly plug and play.  I located a match for the factory plugs, but they're coming from fricking china, so that'll be awhile.  I know, I know, with all that china crap lately, but it was only $6.

Finally got my lights delivered.  Going with 2 amber bulbs in the front.  Going to mount them where the stock signal lamps should mount, one behind and one on the side.  For the rears, I found these motorcycle brake lights on the cheap that are the exact dimensions of the rear reflectors.  Even mount the same.  I'll just wire the park and brake light wires together.  Might get covered with mud, so may end up putting some smaller lights up near the factory tail lights.  Oh, and my factory flasher did not work.  I had another LED flasher on my buggy that I robbed, and I at least think this is going to work alright.

New here, trying to help my dad with adding turn signal, he has a 2019 Z800 trail, base on what I have gathered is that his rear lights should be turn signal ready and all it needs is the signal switch.  We ordered the oem switch and installed it, to one of the two identical plugs, tested the switch but no signal on either tail light in any direction, unplugged it and plug into the 2nd connection and had the same result.  Tried to find the flasher relay, but could not really confirm it, I do see a 3 wire harness going in the direction of where it should be located into a square object (thinking its probably the flasher).  The switch does light up so thats good.  So a few questions, is there any particular setting of the lights for the signal to work? or should it just work when its on period?  Does it need the hazard switch plugged into the other identical plug in order for the signal to work?  What am I doing wrong? LOL

OK, from what I know and heard over the years- They come with the wiring in the harness but do not come with the switch and/or the flasher (some newer models do come with the flasher already installed) and they must have the tail light assemblies with the turn signal light which the US versions do not have. That means they must be replaced and are very expensive. You also need the front light assemblies.

Just want to update for those that may be in my situation, looks like the 2019 we have did not come with the flasher relay, also the harness for it is also where you would connect the signal switch.  Other posts kept saying flasher relay was under the hood area and I was looking forever.

I’m looking at doing this on my machine. Did you just add the flasher relay and it was good to go?  I also see you are from SLC. I’m in SOJO. Would u be able to share any pics you have of how you made it work?
