2023 Air Filter

Does anyone have a part number for a 23 800 trail ?

The 2023s aren't even listed yet at any parts houses so finding a UniFilter parts number will be a matter of getting the measurements and finding one that works on their site...if they haven't changed the type of filter which was just a clamp-on. I hear something about "Donaldson" boxes and filters on the 23s but no confirmation.

The air filter is a Donaldson. I don't plan or putting on a Uni filter unless necessary. Will have to wait until I take it out on the trail with a group and see how it handles Owyhee dust.

If it is a true Donaldson you shouldn't have any problems. Just use the Donaldson filters.

Got word from Main street and CFMUSA that they are putting it together now. Should be out next week. So I will assume next couple of weeks stuff should be coming

Here is a pic of a UNI that they recommended for the 23 800. Does it fit perfectly ? No the bottom part is to wide. Yes you can close the cover but you have to push on it. IDK about that. I will put it aside for an emergency filter

The UP6229ST is a straight 4" unit with the same 2.25" base. I knew the 950s and 1000s were but didn't know the 800s were also 2.5". Good info.

Yet another move by CFM to force you to use their filters only. I would do whatever it takes...to not use a CFM filter. JMO

Someone said the new machines have a Donaldson filter. I guess this is not Donaldson.

That part number shows to be a $39 CFMoto air filter. It's no Donaldson number. Hopefully at that cost it's decent.

Hopefully. Can you get some photos of where and how the filter sits in the air box..without it being installed and a full set of measurements of the filter...like length, width, flange opening size exactly?
