I have a 5ft wide trailer and its tight to drive up on it if no one is around to guide. I use the winch to pull it up and walk along it and steer. I kept the winch thing plugged in all the time. I noticed when the hatch is closed its pressing down on the wire. I moved the plugin to a empty spot on the dash. Very easy.
