Here is a head scratch er folks!

2014 Zforce 600, 417 miles. Doing routine maintenance and clean up today. While trying to pin down a squeak coming from the exhaust muffler bushings I noticed the rear, passenger side forward shock mounting tab looked odd. The forward top portion of the shock had rubbed itself on the forward most 'tab' causing an area of wear.
After a few choice words I compared the mounting tabs to the drivers side. Both sides (forward and rear) of the drivers-side shock mounting 'tabs' are dimensionaly the same shape while the passenger side tabs are NOT the same same shape. The forward most 'tab' is larger and longer with the 'longer' portion having rubbed/touched the top of the shock making itself a nice indent. Noticed no damaged to the shock though (maybe harder material)
Had my brother in law bounce/rock the passenger side to see if I could notice any movement and found none. Two my knoweledge the machine has never had a repair or replacement and the shocks, frame etc are all original (I.E stock)
Now I am worried-- is this going to cause me issues down the road? Machine was in at the dealer for its 300 mile service two months ago with no defect noted and a clean bill of health. I am not noticing any weird riding issues either.
Could the factory have screwed this up that bad when it was built? Pictured attached.
Those of you whom have owned or currently have a Z600 notice the same thing? Any help would certainly be appreciated.
