I have a z6 ex 2013 the malfunction light stays blinking and the reverse light stays on at any position of the lever, it stays at 0 the odometer and the miles do not continue counting. I already changed the speed sensor and ran the odometer but failed again.

When the malfunction light starts flashing, the car starts to fail when the throttle is fully depressed.

 I was disconnecting the battery and it restarted but I spent 10 minutes walking and turned on the malfunction light

I'm not sure about all your problems, but the reverse sensor will cause the light to stay on and limit the throttle. The is a post about bypassing the sensor by grounding it or an updated one that is now available.
