What is the acceleration switch? I see it in the service manual but I have no idea what its for? The reason I ask is mine is constantly flickering on and off...the switch is broke and needs replacing. Page 240 or 12-8. It has the triangle with the exclamation point in it.

I believe that is the 4x4 limit bypass switch when the machine is locked in 4x4 with locker active the pcm won't allow the rpm to exceed (x) amount by pressing and holding that switch u override the pcm and are able to reach the rpm limiter like if you would be in 2 wheel drive I can only assume it's to not put excessive amount of strain on the 4x4 system

If its like the Z8s, the override switch only effects the limiter for the diff-loc, not the reverse limiter. The Z6 might be different though. Test to see.

I knew it was a limiter override, but never thought to try it in reverse. lol Not that I need to do 60 in reverse.
