My grandson pressed the kill switch on the dash, after the switch was turned back on the Z6 would crank but not start. after 2 days it started.
Now It wont start again, This time the z was shut off by the key .
Any ideas what could be the problem?

You could pull the kill switch and check with a multimeter just to rule it out.

Thanks for the Idea, I've went and checked the switch with a ohm meter and it seems to be good.

Check for spark. And do you hear the fuel pump kick on?

Found the problem! the connection on the throttle body was unplugged. after I plugged it in she started.
Before it quit the check engine light was continually flashing, now its out.

now mines not starting I turn the key don't hear the fuel pump kick on an when I try to start it, it just clicks....

You might have a few things going on. I would suspect the battery first. Make sure its charged up good then try it. Hook it back up to charger and see if its 90% or better. Bridging the starter solenoid will tell you if there is a problem with the solenoid or trigger circuit if it turns over fine.

ok well bad battery an the solenoid ive already ordered not sure if its bad or not but I'm thinking the starter is bad because I tried bridging it but nothing happen. so not sure if I did it right or not but good thing is the fuel pump only wasn't coming on bc the battery. so any way of checking the starter solenoid? after I get the new solenoid in.

To bridge the solenoid, I just use a rubber handle pliers and touch the two large lugs. It should spark and turn over. If you don't get any where with that, check the starter connection. If that looks OK, pull the starter and hook a jump pack to it. Black to the case and then touch the red to the lug. It should turn good. Also try this test holding it at different angles. Yes I have had starters only work if held level and stop as soon as you tip it a little.

ok so pulled the starter off an its out hooked it up to my truck battery an it spun maybe half a turn an quit, on top of that it struggled to do that lol. So ima order a new starter
