Here in Upstate NY a few hours from Canada we get pretty extreme Winter temps. My 400AU Plows and always starts fine but I'm curious what all you cold environment people are using for oil weight/viscosity in your machines.
The manual suggests 15w-40.

What do you all suggest?

0w/30 or 40 is fine. In fact many people run it year-round now.

I went with a synthetic 0w-40. Where is a good place to order an oil filter besides eBay? Need an air filter also.

You need to be using the Unifilter and not the OE filter. As for oil filters, I get them from Alpha-Sports to round out an order so I have a few on the shelf for my 800.

Alpha Sports doesn't seem to have the oil filter, waiting for another response.

My airbox seems warped, and the lid doesn't close well. I need a good filter just to be sure no crap gets sucked in
