Hey guys
I still not have ideia if the rear diff is allways locked or not.
We have 2 buttons ... 1 for 4x4 and other to lock the front diff, correct ?
So this means that the rear diff is allways lockek or by the contrary just lock in 4x4 mode ?  :(
Someone can clarify ?

The front always has the 2/4wd locked-in or not. Locked in it will have the diff-loc control, locking the two sides together. The rear, if it has a locker, will have a separate control for that. Usually called "Terf-Mode" here in the US, may be called something else abroad. Otherwise it will have both axles splined-into one carrier..ie locked together all the time.

Nope...but it is an off-road vehicle. Still..people use them on the road all the time. I bit tough on tire wear though...lol

If you can "manually" lock and unlock the rear diff (some europe models have a rear diff that you can lock/unlock due to ceratin rules for some registrations forms) those that has the manual lock has an extra switch for locking the rear diff.

If it has a rear diff as most atv it alwais gives both rear wheels 50/50 power going in the diff. It's not a real differential realy because it made so that it always gives the same amount of power to both wheels. (don't know a better explenation of it in English) Here in europe the c force 800xc/850xc and c force 1000 has some kind of atomatic rear locking differential.

It's not harmful to drive on roads with it. It will wear tires a bit faster then a viechle that has an open rear diff.

I have a cf moto c force 520 (500s for the us market) and almoust got 30000 km on it and over 1000h on it and a lot of those km is from road driving. Haven't had any rear diff problem yet exept i had to replace the diff seals once.

I had tested the bike in dealer and there is no problem with mavouvers. They tell me that have a system that desingage the normal locker when you make a turn. Probably similar to 800 like Skogsvarelse write. I make the test internal and external in the dealer ship because I am waiting plate so I can´t go to open road.
