I picked up a 2020 400s last week, and I'm looking to upgrade the tires a bit. Specifically I need mud tires for where I'll be mostly riding. There seems to be extremely little info available out there that I've been able to find on what size tires you can go with on this wheeler without much extra work.
From what I've been able to find out, 25s will work fine, 26s will fit but rub a little and requires clutch work. Beyond that, will need wheel spacers and/or lift.
I just bought this thing so I don't have a lot of extra cash ATM to go all in on upgrades right now. Can I go with 26" tires without clutch work, or is the machine going to be sluggish as heck? I would rather do 26s if possible since I've noticed my ground clearance is barely enough. Any advice appreciated, I really don't know much about these.
I have to say though, I do otherwise love the machine. Decently quick for it's size, seems pretty damn capable other than tires.
