I'm no expert on the 400 but I always though that coupler and the shaft were lined-up straight. Might check the dif's mounts to ensure they are not broken or egged-out. I believe there is just a straight spline in there so something is wrong. On the newer ones,removing the bolts on the end flanges will drop the driveline. On the older ones..like the 2016's, they were spring-loaded and just collapsing it will get it out. They has rounded splines and may have looked like that. What year is it?
