CF 450L problem with injection
« on: June 03, 2016, 02:03:22 AM »
Hi to all.....
The warning injection lamp in my CF 450L flashes from the first kilometers. Now i must go 500Km far away to find diagnostic tool to reset the trouble. The engine works exelent.
Anyone knows how to reset the trouble myself? Or anyone knows where i can find a software for my PC for diagnosis?. I put out the battery for one day but the light still flashes.

count the blinks and check the number to the chart in your book
If it has Pistons or Tits you will encounter problems.

The dealer has a "PDF". It is the only way I know of to reset the light. If you are having problems with it this soon, please bring it back to them to get it looked at.

If you really want to know what the code is, look in the z8 category, towards the beginning. Download the service manual. It has the best instructions for counting the flashes to give you the error code. I haven't been to Greece so I can't comment on the rulings part. Maybe when things turn around I will have the extra money to see it for myself.

Hello 12, the blinking injection light is the diagnostic EFI light telling you there is an error code or problem. Unafortunatelly the only way to errase the faul is to fix it and then use de PDA sacanner tool to errase it. But you can check what is the problem by counting the blinking and check the error/fault code. To do this you have to look for the ECU diagnostic plug wich is located in the front of the ATV where all cables and plugs come together. Look for a 3 wire unconected plug with wires red,Purple, green. you have to ground the Purple wire 2.5 sec after the ignition is on. This is call the ECU MIL code trouble fault. To read the code proceed as follow, Turn the ignition on, grond the ECU wire 2,5 sec after. The injection light will flash for example for 0, 10 times intervals, for 1 one time, 2 to times and so on. If there is only one faul it will give you a 4 code number by blinking, if there are more faults it will give you the second one after it finish the first 4 ones codes. After you shoud come with a nuber like 0203 for example wich is the P-code so you will have code P0203, let me now what code you have to see the error code.
