Hi everyone I am new on the forum and have an issue with my 2016 400, unit starts fine, fires up straight away but it dies after 5 seconds, if i push the throttle it dies, sometimes it will run through the dead moment and keep running but coughs and splutters and will back fire, could it be a crank position sensor? or skipped a tooth on the cam? TIA

Could be the CPS but I would take a fuel pressure and volume reading first. Also many have had their tank vent check valves stick shut so try loosening the cap to see if it quits acting that way. If it does...you have your answer.

Thanks for the reply, with fuel cap off it still does it, fuel pump is strong, I at a loss.
