When and where is the 1k available?

I wanted to start a thread to ask anyone to report when and where a 1k would be available.  Please no "I think they will be in about this time".  Solid information only of "We have one in stock here" only please.

The 1000(962) will go into mass production later next week. That should have them overseas and in showroom by late April/Early May

I was wondering about that, someone on the CF Moto FB page was saying the 1000 production delays were because the 1000 was eating drive belts, so the cure was they were going back to the wet clutch. Thats good to hear they are gonna keep it a dry belt setup.

Whoa... did CF Moto stop using a wet clutch CVT? I have looked around and I can't find anything about this. To me the wet clutch as opposed to the Razor (for instance) typical Polaris belt slammer,  was one of the great selling features of the CF Moto. The wet clutch CVT is superior to a belt slammer, allowing greater control in technical situations. I don't give a fig about drag racing. Say it isn't so... :)

Well, considering how small the clutch is on the 800 wet clutch setup, along with the general additional power loss I think most owners looking to up the level from the 800 are gonna want a more race inspired design.

I recently spoke to someone I would consider reliable. They tell me the 1000"s are built and crated. Problem is in order to sell them they need to be 50 state emissions compliant. Although they are, the factory neglected to put the sticker or plates on the cars. SO in order to sell them, they have to uncrate them, label them, then crate them back up.
That sounds easy but in reality it isn't. It will cause even further delay and by the time they are done, nobody will want the 2017's because it will be time for the 2018 model year to come out..
So it is a quandary...what to do with the 2017's????

Just what I'm hearing...

LMAO, they forgot to put a sticker or plate on the things ?!?! Wow .... couldn't they have the dealer do that as part of the final assembly process ? I assume not, since it probably needs that in place to be imported into the country. But seriously ... if that's true ... damn ... I'll volunteer to test one out as well. I'd love to shut up the CF Moto naysayers in my midst.

Can't believe they forgot something like that...and what about the current production? Also seems like they could pop the top and slap the plate on or even put a temp on the crate and let the dealer put the real one on. Gota be more to this then that. I guess the 1000s will be on discount if not out soon. Get a new 1000 for the price of an 800..OK!  :) Now if they would just make a 1000 trail...Mmm. I think if my engine ever goes I'll just buy a crate 1000 engine and slap it in.

Ok here is what I know. I ordered my red Z1000 on March 6th, and was told that it would be in the next week. The dealer called and said that the 1000 has not been released, because of testing. Yesterday I contacted CFmotoUSA and asked when it was going to be released. They said that it was still in testing ,EPA, and as soon as the testing and paper work were completed it would be released. The dealer then called me to tell me that it would be the end of May.
