lift kit options
« on: October 02, 2021, 02:40:32 PM »
Just wondering what lift kit options are the best bang for your buck?  I'm not into rock crawling, or putting huge tires on it, I just want to stick with factory tires and get some more simple clearance for the odd rock or going through old ruts (2" or so would be perfect).  I see some kits offer shock relocation mounts, others are a spring spacer on the shock.  What are the advantages/disadvantages of each?

Really most would recommend tires first especially sense the stock tires are ... well, not worth keeping IMO. Then if needed, not more then a 2" bracket lift because they will keep more of the spring's load ratio and stroke where the "Puck" or spring spacers are more like just cranking-up your preload making it very stiff and destroying the ride...not that it's all that great with the stock shocks but why make it worse. People have been using the bracket lift for the 800 RzR and making the slight modifications to fit. There may be someone out there by not that makings them for the ZForce though. Try SATV, Side-by-Side stuff and HL. If they are listed to fit the ZForce 800 EX, they will fit the ZForce 1000.
