Well I got tired of waiting for someone to make a set of fill panels for my 1000 so I decided to make them myself. I used some 18ga aluminum and attached them to the bottom of the stock doors. I made a pair of brackets that fit inside the door and are attached with a couple of self tapping screws. I just used a plastic push rivet for the front fastener using an existing hole. only two additional screw holes were needed on the underside of the door so removing them will leave the doors looking untouched. I used a grip seal with a 5/8" bulb for the door gasket which works well and looks good. I also made a patch panel for the side of the seat-it's a single piece and covers both holes.
I was going to powder coat them but the powder coater couldn't get them done before we left so I installed some black vinyl on them for now. I made a set for a friends 1000 also and he had his powder coated and they look great. My dealer wants me to make a few sets but I'm on the fence on that idea. Legal issues and being retired I don't think I need the hassle
