Hi guys. I’m going to buy a zforce1000 possibly the 950 in about a month. I’ve never bought a new machine. So I have no idea how to break it in. How did you do it? How many miles? Hours? What? Thanks in advance !

Don't worry, its all outlined in the owner's manual. Basically easy on it for the first couple of hours then start stretching it's legs slowly with some cool-down periods between for at least 50 miles or so..and one word of advice- give it it's first oil change in half the time they suggest. Over 90% of the engine's break-in happens in the first 30 minutes..and these Chinese engines do a lot of ...let's just say "Internal Adjustments" in a short time. Lots of materials that need to be out of there asap.

I’ve never bought any kind of new machine so the thought of not breaking it in right and having a lot of trouble out of the gate was kind of daunting. Being 18 and having to putt putt around for a while is gonna be the most difficult part lol.

Break-in is very important and changing your oil at 1/2 time recommended is great advice and money well spent.  I changed mine at 1/2 time and the oil looked fantastic with only a minute amount of metal attached to the drain plug magnet.  My second oil change was at mileage recommended and everything looked great...Oil was still clean and clear.  CF Moto, as well as other brand machines, are good to you as long as you take care of them.  Inspections and maintenance are key to a healthy ride.  You will love your new SXS.
