Thanks. I'm sure it will. And I do believe we have that info along with some other UniFilters that will fit in our "Information Center".
Going by the information center, the filter listed for the U-Force 1000 (nu-8503-st) only has a 2.375 opening, per the Amazon listing in the 3rd question asked in this link.
https://www.amazon.com/Uni-Filter-NU-8503ST-2-Stage-Air/dp/B000HS6N5G
The correct number that has the 2 1/2" Inlet, should be NU-8709ST per the Unifilter website.
Not sure what to purchase? Unifilter website has not been updated since 2019 when the U-force 1000 was introduced.
I agree. Also I had one other concern in that that type of filter was designed not to use a clamp, but to push-on and have the other end retained like a Polaris filter...yet another search on FB sites show that's what people are using and I hope they are clamping them on. That's why it's listed. Also, that the actual OD of the pipe isn't 2.50". It's metric.. but close to that 2.5". I know these are clamp-on filters so if I were in your shoes, I would go for the NU-8709ST and if it does fit without having to force the clamp to make it fit, please do report it here so I can add it to the list.
UPDATE: Because UniFilter does in fact list the
NU-8709-ST as the correct one for the 1000s, I have listed it in the information center.
