Hi guys,

if I am not mistaken our users manual says to switch 2WD/4Wd with a full stop only.
Do you follow this?
Do you think we can engage/disengage 4WD on a relatively low speed without pressing gas pedal (sure no rear wheels spinning etc)?

Thank you
Vlad

I make the switch at speeds under 25mph with no pressure on the drive train and it hasn't broken yet ;-)

Yeah I generally do it under 12mph and in a neutral state on the throttle...ie costing, not on or off the throttle. Once it switches I give the throttle a little tickle just to make sure the slide/coupling is completely seated before applying power...because if it's not and it gets pushed apart, it's the plastic parts like this drive that pays the price...well we will when replacing it...lol

I usually stop to engage it.  Sometimes I disengage it at low speeds, no throttle.
