Good Afternoon,

Was riding on a dirt road when I thought I blew a rear tire. Turns out the rear shock fell apart. The machine has under 200 miles on it. I just dropped it off to the dealer for warranty work(hopefully covered). I have owned a few rigs and haven't seen this before. Anyone know what could of happened?

Agreed LoL. This was just one ride. It was cleaned before 

Cf covered my front shock wasn't broken but wore the f out after 3000kms
So hopefully they'll cover yours too

Mine did the same thing last evening. The lower shock mount came lose from the shock shaft. 275 miles on this one with less than 6 months of ownership. After I talk to the folks that sold it to me (for warranty work), I will inspect the remaining 3 shocks for proper assembly. My pics look like the original poster.

Well the shop said it was covered under warranty, No shit. They ordered the parts (new shock body and rear tail light cover). That was almost 2 weeks ago. Still waiting for the parts to come in and then they put it all together. I have asked them if they could pull off the lower mounting assembly and hit it with some blue locktite and torque it back together before they assemble it. That will require them to re-pressurize the shocks, but it is better than being 50 miles away from a place where I can fix it. We'll see.

I am still waiting for the shop to get the part they ordered 3 weeks ago. Not too sure this is sustainable. I wonder how long it would take for a Polaris or Kawasaki part to get here? Thank god I have the Gladiator Rubicon for my "dirt fix".

Hang in there. Seems like there are more supply & shipping-issues with China these days then Japan.

Got it back. They also replaced the tail light lens . All good. It did take a little while to get the stuff from (China?). The shop here that sold the ride and serviced it, is The Power Center here in Las Cruces, NM. They worked as fast as they could to get it back to me. I would deal with them again if I wanted to get another one. I am looking at the Cforce 1000 XL.
