I know the shocks are adjustable in many ways, Mine are still set to the stock settings. What are some of your experiences with adjustments. I have a 2021 950 , im running 30s if that matters at all.

My experience is that factory setting is too way stiff.
I do not remember exact number of clicks, but I went to something like 5-6 clicks from the softest position.

In my opinion these shocks are too stiff from the factory.  I’ve tried to soften them up with the adjustments but I believe it to be too high of a spring rate in the coils themselves.  I looked into new coils, but decided to get Hester Elkas instead.  I ordered them in May but am still waiting due to parts are on back order.

Everyone should check their preload settings.  I probably should have noticed in the past but mine was sitting a lot higher in the front than the rear.  I happened to measure it before I put on the new shocks for a reference.  Also the clickers side to side were different when I first bought the machine.

Thanks for the advice, I will now check and post my findings cause I feel it's too stiff. It's brand new and not broken in yet but I built it upon receiving and never questioned the settings with high and low rebound or coil setting. I've set up my Raptor atv and kx450 dirtbike both with sag and suspension likes.
