Just a heads up on “new” 2022 models……..
« on: March 06, 2022, 02:18:27 PM »
I ordered a 2022 ZForce 950 in December.   My dealer seems like a very straight up guy.  I am NOT faulting him at all .  He never made me any promises about delivery date and I wasn’t pushing.  My season starts on April 15th.   He and I both believed that might be realistic.

Fast forward to the present time.

CF Moto is shipping 2021 models as 2022 models now.   I am told that the real 2022 models will not be in most USA showrooms until May, or June.    I believe this to be true for a few reasons.   YouTube has dealers showing 2022 models that are 100% 2021’s.   No bead locks, no HO decals on the doors and the suspensions are clearly from a 2021 also.

I was holding out for a 2022 because of the additional HP and other enhancements.  Now I find myself in a bind.    I already bought the factory box with the two fuel jugs, the rear windshield and a few other accessories.

Some of the items can be used on another machine.  The rear cargo box and rear windshields may end up here for sale, or on EBay if I decide to jump ship and buy something else.   Right now used Can Ams are calling me.

I noticed that when I was at my dealer a couple weeks ago.  The shipment of all “new” machines were the old 2021s.  Probably trying to use up old parts.  There is another dealer not far from here that has yet to have a z950 since they came out.  Kinda weird how these get shipped.  Maybe that’s why they have limited availability on there sites.

Stay away from Canams, they are definitely the worst machines to work on and maintain. The driven clutches are prone to failing and their engines aren’t lasting as long as they should. I own an ATV repair shop so my knowledge is first hand.
