Does anyone know the color of the RPM or tachometer signal wire on pin Nu# 34 with ECU? I installed a digital RPM gauge and can't figure how to splice into coil because of two coils. So I thought use the Tachometer signal and found it's pin Nu# 34 from the manual. I don't want to remove plug and cut tape back at the ECU access panel. I'm hoping someone did that and can tell what color the wire is so I can trace up to instrument display and splice or tap in there.

Or..someone with the wiring diagram. :)  Hope that works. Never known anyone to use that wire for that. Only experience I have had with an add-on digital tach was one that used an inductive pickup where it wrapped a wire around a spark plug wire and set a switch on the unit for single or twin cylinder.
Oh, and looking that wire on the 1000 and the 800's diagrams, both are R/G which stands for Red with Green stripe. It's likely the 950 is the same. I hope hooking something to it doesn't take out your ECU. Good luck.

I got your emails and I can't thank you enough for your help. On all my other tach gauges I wrapped around plug wire near the coil but this is a twin. I did set switch for twin cylinder and I will just put around one plug wire and see what happens. I was told because of the sealed coil I had to find the RPM signal wire. I just finished my Irish dinner and plan on hitting my garage in a few....I will keep you informed with my progress ....or failure ;D

My name is Terry and I want to thank you for replying to my help question. You were right , I wrapped around plug wire and wala!....it's working like I originally thought it would. I was told different from someone who's talking out their A#@#%$....I should have know better after all these years of working on anything with a motor. The gauges look cool and my elka stage 4 shocks came in today so tomorrow there getting put in. The thing that makes me laugh every time I open the door is I have this skeleton giving you the finger projected on the floor. I am now ready to make flames come out the pipes for the goof, I'm using a barbecue igniter with a small propane tank with brass fittings......Hope it works! ;D

Those shocks will totally transform your machine. I hated how stiff the shocks were from the factory.  The new 2022s have a different shock package probably lowering the spring rate.

I was able to install the front ones and went for a ride......WHAT A DIFFERENCE! It's like butter and yes, The stock are stiff and much heavier. I'm putting in the back ones tonight and going riding at my hidden track in the wood tomorrow. It figures that everything I buy has another release right after I bought. Always upgrades I replaced or figured out, Many give input to CFMoto and they do listen. I hate spending the extra cash and work but it's all good once it's together........ sometimes it's better that a orgasm when things work smooth like you expect them too.. LOL!
