Canadian turn signal harness?
« on: January 05, 2023, 05:26:12 PM »
Just curious if there is a harness that plugs in for the turn signals for the Canadian model I would not see them having a complete different wiring harness I have seen the YouTube videos where they splice into the lines but if the lines are already there there should be no reason to splice there should be something that would plug in somewhere any information would help

The Canadian models come with them stock so ya think they wouldn’t change the wiring just to eliminate a some options

This link shows all the switches an blinkers module etc for the Uforce

so I’d say if yours is the same or you can find your model an follow it it should be the same or maybe the same as Canadian model

Like there used to be heated seats
In 2019 stock but not any more the wiring plug is still there thou just capped

I have a 2022 Zforce Sport 950 HO US Edition and was able to get the front turn signals working by purchasing the flasher and turn signal switch from CFMoto..no splicing needed, but my rear turn signals are not working yet, so have to dig further into it

i find it interesting, in the US service manual wiring diagram, it lists turn signals but there are no paths shown.  if you turn to the section 12 (electrical system) it shows the wire connections for the turn light switch (for the EU) orange +, Gray -, for one side and Sky Blue + and Gray - for the other side.  I'm wondering how far back has anyone traced the colors.  I haven't looked yet but I suspect they are in the trailer wiring harness.  It might be a better place to pull from.  I'll let you know what I find.

Anyone make any progress on this? I'm planning to buy the OE switch and flasher but need to figure out how to get the rears working too. It's my understanding that the trailer connector should have the signal wires in it.

Guys, the Gen2 Zforce 950 Trail and Sport use the same setups as the Gen2 Zforce Trail 800.  I did a writeup on putting turn signals on the 800 that's in the How To section.  I don't know about the 950 HO, but the Service Manual for the 800 covers the 950 Trail and Sport - no mention of the HO.

Basically the rear turn signals are activated by switching a plug behind the right rear quarter panel.  In the US version the backup lights are wired; in the Canadian version the backup lights are used for rear turn signals. There are two plugs in the right rear quarter panel, one for the backup lights and one for the turn signals.  There's only one plug on the tail light assemblies though, so you need to disconnect the backup light plug from it and plug in the turn signal plug.

I have a 2022 z force 950 ho sport us model. The trailer plug in the back dose have all the wires and power to the brake and running light but no power to the turn single. Can't seem to figure this one out.
