are floor mats recommended or used in thes SSV/UTV?
« on: November 30, 2023, 11:31:11 AM »
I´m new with those vehicles, and I have a question, are recommended floor mats (ruber ie)?
For sure not specific (I found some for other ssv-utv, ie canam), but is someone using them? (cutting one from a car to adapt).
or really there is not wear in the plastic floor...

Thanks

For most of us the amount of water, mud, dirt and other stuff that gets on the floors that has to be drained and/or blown-out prohibits the use of anything like that. Also mats would block the drain holes so...nope, I don't think it's a good idea. But if yours is only used as transportation on roads..then it may not be a bad idea. Just make sure the driver's mat can't interfere with peddle operation...ever.

Floor mats are nice, but not practical for my use. I drive on lots of dusty back roads and when I return home from the ride, I use the leaf blower to remove most of the dust before hosing it down. So, floor mats are just another thing to have to clean. The floor of my 950 is so easy to clean I just leave it.

I use them on the driver side curled up on the tunnel to help keep my right leg from roasting mainly in the hot southern NM summer, works a little.
