New 950 ho ex wireless remote not working is there something I'm missing?

Check that there are no blown fuses, that the batteries in the remote are good and in correctly and that it is turned on as well as the engine running...always have the engine running when using the winch. Otherwise you might have a bad controller.

Checked fuses all good try with engine running in neutral, engine not running, but the wired one works.

Not sure if you tried this or not. But you have to hold down both buttons until the red light turns on. Stumped me for a little while.
