Hello,

I have recently upgraded to a 24' z950 trail. What are the thread designations for both primary bolt and secondary nut clutches? I am reading the primary bolt on a 950 HO are left hand thread. is this the same for my trail? And is the secondary nut right hand thread?
Machine is sitting in my shop with 1 mile on it but want to be ready to re clock the secondary if need be after i take it out. TIA

To my knowledge all the "non-wet clutch" models use the same retainage on the primary clutch which is both the retailer bolt and the clutch's nut are both left-hand threaded and the puller is not. The retainage of the secondary remains the same as previous models which is Right-handed thread. The actual torque specs may very but I suspect all the 1000-class engines will be the same. I can look that up if needed. It would be in your interest to get a service manual though. Here's video that may help:
