Hi all, just bought a 2022 z950 ho sport and went riding it for the first time today. While in Low range driving through wooded trails I noticed the throttle was very reduced and wouldn't go over 15 mph. I could floor it and it wouldn't rev up or go faster, rpm's would stay under 4500 or so, almost like computer cutting off the throttle. No issue in high gear, it would go fast without any hesitation.

Another weird issue.. I kept it in 4wd but once in a while while driving the 4 tire 4x4 light would just keep flashing. Most of the time it just showed 4 solid tires. almost like it was going in and out of 4wd? Maybe switch is loose?

Figured I'd see if anybody had these issues before I call the dealer tomorrow.. I only have 25 miles on it now too.

The low range limiter has come up just the other day on another model & member as well so it looks like CFM is trying to save engines..and transmissions now by limiting the speed and or RPMs in low range. Probably not a bad idea as long term operation at higher speeds in low range is hard on these things. Maybe..this also explains the flashing wheel lights as well. That I can't tell you. Hopefully the dealer will have some insight.   

Just an update on this from the dealer:

Speed limited in Low gear is correct to save transmission and engine.

The 4wd flashing issue - they diagnosed was a bad 4wd switch which they are replacing as well as the 4wd actuator. It is currently at the shop awaiting parts delivery but all under warranty.

Anyone know how to defeat this?  They instruct you to ride in low all the time unless your high speed driving and frankly 40km or 25 miles per hour is not high speed.  Neither is 50 km
