SuperATV High Clearance A Arms on '17 Z500?
« on: August 04, 2019, 05:13:42 PM »
Anyone know if these will fit a '17 Z500?

https://www.superatv.com/cfmoto-zforce-high-clearance-a-arms-group-1

Hit a stump last night that sheared off the passenger front wheel.  Figured if I was going to replace the pieces, I might as well try to upgrade at the same time.  However, can't find parts for the 500 anywhere, and REALLY hoping these are interchangeable from the 800.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Nope. Far as I know the 500s are using the 800 trail chassis and they use the short a-arms. Those are for the EX and 1000s so unless you want to spend a ton of money converting yours to the EX suspension, better just order what you need from Alpha-Sports.com. and hope your frame is OK.

That's exactly what I was afraid to hear...   I actually just got done ripping everything apart to see what the damage is, and I was kinda surprised.

It looks like the only pieces that were damaged was the control arm for the power steering (threads snapped at the wheel) and...the mounting points for the lower arm on the frame...

Thanks for the input!
