I bought this new last December.  Been running like a champ until the other day when came back from riding, it wouldn't idle.  I can crank it over IF I hold the peddle down  I know so I know it's getting fuel.  I hear the pump prime when I turn key and the power switch is on.  Any ideas? I'm mechanical but not a mechanic.

Get some stats. Check the valves and do a compression test. How may miles are on this and...what air filter are you running?

Using a UNI filter, checked it and cleaned it, less than 1k miles.

Figured it out. Went through the basics, Air, Fuel, Spark.  Air good, Fuel good, Spark not so much.  Burnt out plug.  Replaced and started right up.  Plug is melted and was plugged with carbon? Don't know, the pic shows difference.

How does a plug get burnt out? Picture?
