Primary clutch removal
« on: March 18, 2022, 02:20:47 PM »
Hi

I`m trying to remove a damaged primary clutch and replace it with a new one. The problem is that the inner clutch hub / plate is stucked. What is the best way to get this loose? Is it just to drag it off with a puller tool or is there something else to do?

Regards Stian

I see you have the bolt out but looks like the nut is still there...If so, that will have to come off and its also left-handed. Then it all should slide off.

Thanks for your reply NMKawierider, but what looks like a nut, is a fixed part of the part I`m trying to get off / loose. It`s purpose is to fix the the outermost part in position.

Is it so that I need to use a clutch puller tool/bolt to do the job? Like shown in this video (40 sec from the start):
