Hi Everyone. I recently installed a new belt on my 2019 zforce 500. Since the install i noticed its very jumpy when first engaging the gas pedal but seems to disappear after a little push. Biggest issue is when i put it in park, after 10 seconds or so its starts to make a noise that seems to be coming from inside the belt casing. Put in back in gear and the noise goes away. Any ideas? Thanks

Welcome. A couple of questions- did you inspect the one-way bearing for wear and/or any signs of lube-loss? How about the sheaves-any sign of wear or flattening about the initial contact point? On the new belt, did you check the gap between the belt and the sheaves for correct spacing? If an aftermarket belt, did you conform the width was correct as indicated by the service manual...some are not. I assume the primary was cleaned and all the build-up in the weight slides was removed...right?
