The oil filter cap came loose somehow and lost oil. When we noticed the weird running noise and the oil light we turned it off right away.
After refilling the oil, the engine makes a clicking noise and I don't think it has the same power it use to have.
Any ideas?

Yeah...it's gone. Time for a full rebuild. Don't run it any more...unless you want to buy a new complete engine. nFlow does quality rebuilds if needed. You just do the R&R.
