Hi everyone, I want to put some Elka shocks on my 2019 ZForce 500, and I want to make sure they will fit. On Elka’s website, you can only order shocks for the ZForce 800 Trail, but it's the same machine, right? So, can I just install the Elka shocks for the 800 Trail on my 500, or do I need modifications? It’s for the rear shocks, so there's no reservoir. Maybe I can just go with the Elka Stage 1 without a reservoir? Thanks for your help!

Yes, the 800 trail and the 500 are the same machine just with smaller engines. It's the EX that takes the longer shocks and won't fit the trail chassis. DO make sure that if the rears have reservoirs that they face the rear..not the side. You might also check with Bandit Suspension. I worked with them to develop springs and complete shocks for the trails a while back...and theirs have rebound adjustments...something the Elka stage threes and below don't have anymore. I have a set of their shocks on front and still just the springs on the CFM shocks on the rear. Beautiful ride. Taking a look I see all they have left for the 500/800 trails is the stage1/3s and the springs. Still a great set either way.
