When first started the Power assist works turning left and if you turn to the right gets stiff and EPS light flashes and the assist stops working all together?  All has 12v power at control box and motor for one second turning right. All fuses and connections good. Maybe sensor in front of box? or control box?  Thanks need help :-\

If all the fuses and connectors are good it's likely a bad torque sensor in the main unit or the control unit. In either case it will have to be taken in. You might replace the control unit..but it's most often not that....and to my knowledge there are no parts for the main unit so they just replace it. Prepare yourself for when they tell you the price if your warranty is expired. It's over a grand.

My brother had a similar issue on his 800XC.  Turned out to the be a loose connector making marginal contact. This lasted a year until he tore into the machine had reseated the connector. It's been working flawlessly since.
