« on: March 18, 2017, 08:24:53 PM »
Hi all, my x6 just started to have problems with the reverse sensor, activating rev limiter sometimes. I am not an expert mechanic, i read the service manual but ibeasn unable to locate the freaking sensor to bypass it.  Anyone can aid me with some photos?  Thanks...

Thank you very much, it is very accessible right under the seat. Just cleaned the sensor, it was covered on dirt, tomorrow i will rock and roll and test.

I have a similiar question, my 2019 cforce 600 limits my reverse to 5 mph and isn't enough to get out of some mud, i would like to disable it, how would i do that? it seems i just have to cut some wire but i can't find any wire diagrams of this machine. please help.

I just reviewed the CF 550 and it's wired the same as the Z800 as for the reverse limiter and indicator so I am pretty sure the same will apply for the CF600. They use the Sb/W(SkyBlue/White) wire from the switch to the indicator and the ECU. It has to be cut at the ECU to keep the light working and just null the limiter. Its on #18 of block J1. In the How to's, I have a video on doing this to a ZForce. Same will apply to yours just your ECU will be in a different place.

Your welcome.
