Shifting into low
« on: May 03, 2020, 04:33:03 PM »
Anybody have issues of shifting into low? The display shows me in low with the L but it doesn't engage? I go to take off and it doesn't move.
I have to let revs come down then try again. It happens probably a 1/4 of the time I shift.

try to adjust your shifting linkage. Should be under the left side panel.

I have the same problem.  Sometimes it grinds going into low and sometimes I have to jiggle the handle to get it to go in.  A few times it popped out of low gear. I only have about 20 hours on mine.

Grinding normally that means the CVT is moving which turns the transmission main shaft.. and that means it is either idling too high or the oneway/idler bearing is seizing...which is a very common occurrence. That needs checked asap before any more gear damage happens.
