Radiator FAN circuit
« on: September 06, 2023, 12:20:34 PM »
I'm looking for the schematic for the radiator fan.
I had to jumper 12V to the fan in the woods (through a fuse) to keep the fan on as I believe the temp sensor is screwed and the fan wasn't turning on even though the machine was very hot.
The mechanic at CFmoto says that I may have damaged the ECU, but that can't be.  How can placing 12V on a 12V relay damage the ECU when I'm confident that the ECU connects only to the coil side of the relay (the control side) and on the switched side is the fan and a fuse to 12V, oh and I removed the fan fuse from the fuse box.
Thanks
  John

I don't have one but I do have this 2020 450L wiring diagram which had many systems the same or very near the same as the 600. Link will expire in 48 hours so download it soon if you want it.

Thank, I purchased the paper manual but it's with the bike in the CFmoto shop.
Cheers

Interesting. I just bought a 2023 600 touring and noticed my fan rarely comes on even when showing 4 bars on temp gauge. After turning off the key and then turning it back on and then off , without starting it, it activates the fan to come on. Very strange.
