Overheating
« on: June 21, 2020, 09:00:47 AM »
I have 2 each 2020 cforce 600 tourings. Only 20 hours on them both. Never had a problem before. Took them out this last weekend and both overheated within a couple miles of mild driving. The water temp bar were both maxed and the red water temp indicator was flashing. They are kept clean but maybe I'm missing something? Btw it was only 83 degrees the day we had them out

Do they have the circuit breaker device in-line with the fan wiring?

Might look like a small fuse holder near the top of the  upper right radiator.

Check that the chain on the radiator cap didn't get caught in the radiator fan and blew the fuse. That's what happened to me.  I took the chain off.
