My new cf 600 touring - Bluetooth
« on: May 10, 2020, 12:01:34 PM »
Hello
Just joined this forum and looking forward to learn more and gain knowledge from fellow CFMoto owners
So I connected my iPhone to the 600’s Bluetooth...and as per manual the display shows a connected call..but then what...I don’t understand what happens next..I see the CFMoto Bluetooth connection on my iphone...but ??
The manual says to use the select button to answer call - but nothing happens..what am I missing
This is from the 2020 600 manual
Thx for any insight on how Bluetooth is to be used
Thx
Peter

The telephone indicator will not display when there is no call, it will flash when there is an incoming call, and it remains on when the call is connected. Short-press the SEL button to answer the call, and short-press ADJ button to finish the call.

So you are saying when paired, and have an incoming call and you short-press the select button it does not answer the call? And where did they put the microphone and speakers on this machine?

I just can't imagine answering a phone call on one of these noisy things while screaming-down a trail...lol. How can you possibly hear the caller...and them you?

Thx for the reply...afte posting I tried this again but this time I used a set of ear buds which I was able to pair with my phone while my 600 was also paired, I called my phone and sure enough the ear buds picked up..so the 600 works as the manual states but certainly as mentioned no way to be talking while driving with all the noise..so while I now know the booth rooth call answer feature works...I can’t see how it helps since it would only make sense using while stopped...so why would I use the CFMoto to answer...perhaps CFMoto had other ideas when the added the Bluetooth feature

Maybe they are going to have an app that shows all the system stuff.
