Greetings all.
Took my 600 CForce apart this winter to go through all the electrical connections, bushings, brakes, change all fluids and so forth. Noticed that the bushings for the front shock absorbers are completely shot and looks like the material used is absolute crap. Went online to see if the bushings and the sleeve for the bolt could be bought but they come with the shock absorber. Would hate to have to replace the shocks that are fine just because of the bushings being shot.
Does anybody know if bushings for the shocks are available somewhere or if there is an alternative way around this?

What year CF600 is this? Looks like maybe one could make..or modify an a-arm bushing and sleeve to work but as short as it is having it a two-piece may be a problem.

It is a 2019 model. Remember in the old days one could buy shock absorber bushings for cars without any problem. Guess these days are gone

Oh yeah...long gone.

I would suggest going to a bearing/engineering shop and getting some type of nylon/plastic bar stock and machining to fit. Would last longer and probably be about the same for ride comfort.

So i'm new to the forum and just read this post. I have a 2019 CForce 600 and my front shock bushings look exactly like the pictures above. Did you ever come up with a solution or find other bushings that will fit?

If it has the Heim type bearings there's nothing you can do other then replace the shock. But if it has a bushing like shown above you can remove it, measure the inside of the shock's "I" and the bolt. Then go to one of the polyurethane bushing suppliers and order something that may need some slight adjustment to work. For the one above it will take two flanged pieces meeting at the center of the "I" and would be nice if it had steel inserts for the bolt to rotate on. May need to add some extra washers on the sides but WTH. Remember to order the bushing about 1 millimeter larger so you can press it into the shock's "I".
