2021 CFMoto C-Force 600 touring vibration
« on: March 14, 2021, 10:12:56 AM »
I just purchased a new 2021 CFMoto C-Force 600 touring in camo. I absolutely love the machine and everything works fine my wife and I ride and she is very comfortable. We have put 130 miles on it so far but the one problem I found is I would like to know if anybody has a vibration in their machine? From throttle up to about 30 mph it sounds like all the plastics are vibrating and I can feel it in my hands and in my feet. Is this normal and does anybody else have this problem?

Not normal. However there have been some reports of out-of-balance or out-of-round tires. So I would check that out first. If so the warranty should take care of that for sure.

Well it is definitely the whole machine vibrating from the engine RPMs and not from the tires. It would be interesting if someone near me in Minnesota had another one of these machines on this forum that I can ride and see the difference. Is anyone near Milaca that would bring their 2021 600 touring and let me ride it and you can ride mine and see the difference?

If it's the engine vibrating like that it has a real problem. Even more cause to take it in.

So, I brought it to both of my CFMOTO dealers near me. They had their mechanic look at it and they said all the C-force 600's vibrate. They think CFMoto just put too stiff of motor mounts on them.
So, I asked if I could start another one and I did. It vibrates like mine. I am used to Polaris and they have softer rubber. This dealer also sells Polaris.

I live near the city of Milaca. Where are you located? We should meet sometime and we can ride each other's machines.

So now I am nearing the 200 mile mark on my new 2021 CFMOTO C-Force 600 and despite the vibrations in the plastics I really enjoy this vehicle. I do not want to deter anybody. I think it is a good machine it is comfortable for two people the four wheel drive works great power steering is better than my Polaris sportsman 570 was. Overall I think the quality is also better than the Polaris. And if you are on the fence about purchasing one you should go to your dealer and look at one and drive one if they even have any in. Because they sell them faster than they can get them in.

Well I would like to thank JohnG For allowing me to ride his machine. I have come to the conclusion that the 2021 CFMOTO C-Force 600 does have some vibration in it. His rides and vibrates just like mine. But besides all that like I said up above this is a great machine and I am now over 200 miles and I am really enjoying it and I will just ignore the vibrations it's not that big a deal anymore..

May not be related at all but an interesting observation as the 600 and the 950 use the same style of primary clutch. Some with the 950s are having a problem with the clutches coming apart through some kind of structural failure. There are some "rumblings" of a possible imbalance problem with these clutches. I would be interested to see the result of a simple test. To run a 600 in neutral up to about 4000 rpm to see if the vibration exists. If it does, then pull the primary and run the test again open shaft. If the vibration is now gone...we have our answer.

Hmmm, interesting. I'm at 200 miles now and due for the break-in service with an oil change and valves adjusted. The dealer knows about the vibration maybe I should ask them to pull the clutches and see. I just wonder if they would do that without an extra charge. I do not know.
