Zuni Mountains - Western New Mexico

Took a ride out in the Zuni mountains in western New Mexico.  Winter and spring were great with lots of snow and rain.  Rice Park Lake is frequently a dry valley by June, but is holding out well this year.

I know that country hunted forest road 50 but it's been 15 years since I have been and lived in the area. Wow I would really like the ride the buggy in the Zuni mountains.

When I was in my late teens-early 20s I worked for a water well driller and we drilled quite a few in the Thoreau and Bluewater lake area but never rode anything in the mountains. Maybe it should be on my bucket list.
