I went on a little solo ride on the Hatfield McCoy Pocahontas trails yesterday and it was a beautiful day and a good mixture of mud, water, and dust to test out the intake modifications. Everything held together.

Thanks NMK,  yes the conditions were perfect, only issue is when I went to clean it up and the mud was sticking like mortar lol! I'd like to remedy that for the next ride. I've researched things like pledge or a silicone spray lubricant to coat the undercarriage and even the plastics. I'll start another thread on general discussion for yours and anyone else's input.

Thanks Mogleybear, I like it though I've had my share of issues, but mostly minor though. She has plenty of power and will climb, so far, any steep or rocky grade I present to her. I modified the cvt and the engine intake like a lot folks have in an attempt to prolong time between filter cleanings and supply cooler and much cleaner air to them. It does seem to have more power and pick up now. The black is nice, the polished wheels make her custom looking , and with the black, white, yellow, and turquoise decal scheme she's a good looking ride when all cleaned up.

I'm sure cleaned up it looks really good.  I'm sorry you have had some issues.  I have the 800XC, hopefully I don't have many issues with mine.  I sadly already found out that the plastic isn't as flexible as my other atv's.  NMKawierider has given me some good advice on initial maintenance for it.  They do make some really nice looking machines!

Good looking riding area and conditions, and a nice machine. Well played.
