Got out for another ride, 12 hours, but only 50 miles covered. Started out pretty dang cool since we have been getting some rain. The rain is nice, kept the dust down and there were even some decent puddles. Rode a few roads that I haven't been on in a long time, made them like new to me, so that was nice. A couple of deer were cooperative, the first time we rode by them they weren't, on our way back through a while later, they did hang around for a couple of photos. Didn't see any other wildlife to speak of. Ran across an old bear trap, maybe for a mountain lion as well since I usually run across dead cows in the area of the trap. No indication that the trap was currently being used. Some nice views and some interesting rocks. Ran across a rather large spread of ruins, mostly crumbled, only one short wall still kind of standing. An un-naturally large amount of cactus around it as well. Had to be very careful where I stepped. Here are some of the many photos I took. My old neighbor likes to take much longer breaks that I do when I ride solo.
