Rode at Mark Twain national forest today in Potosi, Mo. It was okay, wasn't too impressed but I know we didn't hit all of the best trails. They were dusty and overgrown. Either way, it was fun to finally go out with another sxs and not have to worry! I was with a Yamaha Viking with some tasteful mods. It was pretty surprising how well it did on the trail with how big it is. I beat the crap out of mine and ripped the passenger rear fender off twice...so I'm keeping them off for now. The Cfmoto is proving to be a pretty tough machine!
Good news is that my snorkel works perfectly and throttle body is clean as a whistle! You can really hear the air being sucked into the intake...Even at idle.
My throttle did get stuck a few times wide open. It happened immediately after going through the largest mud hole on the trail. I tried pulling back on the pedal, but that didn't work. Only thing that got it back down was by punching it. So I'm guessing I'll have to grease the cable, just not sure where mud would have gotten into it.
