Rainy Solo Ride
« on: August 27, 2024, 07:37:05 PM »
Got out on the CF Moto yesterday for another solo ride.  Weather started out pretty rainy, but ended up being pretty nice.  The annoying part about riding in the rain is not being able to ever get the rain gear back in the original packaging.  The cow and calf elk were somewhat cooperative for the photo, was a larger group but they got over the hill before I got the camera out.  Ran across a murder of crows, unfortunately the camera doesn't really pick them up clearly.  The single bird, again hard to tell, was actually a hawk.  Then of course the cows, but this one stayed posed.  It still amazes me what some people will find to shoot in the woods.  Overall nice ride, covered 74 miles.  Things are still really green in the Jemez, so that was nice.

You're welcome, I know you miss the area since you are limited in getting out now.  I would like to say that hopefully things get better and you can get out, but I fear that is not the case from what I've read.  I always take a ton of photos when I'm out. I've learned over the past, that it can all be gone in a short period of time.  Here's two photos from 2007 and then the same are in 2011.  I need to take the drone out some more, but I don't think flying it in rainy weather is the best of plans.
