Probably final ride of the season
« on: November 07, 2021, 09:37:30 PM »
Hoping to get one more in, but we'll see if it happens.  House is sold and were moving.  Not too far from where we are now, but riding directly out of my garage will no longer be possible.  Also the final ride with my riding buddy and his kids, they are moving also at the end of the month to Kentucky.  Along with that it was the final ride of my Polaris.  Been with me since new in 2006.  Sold it and my Kawasaki to prepare for our move.  Down to 2 now, the CFMoto 800XC and the Polaris RZR.  Bittersweet, ready to get out of the mountains and dealing with the winters, but am dearly going to miss being able to ride directly from my house.  Last year at around this time I did my shoulder in pretty well by tripping on a dog.  That lead my wife and I to realize that were not young anymore and dealing with a 3 story house for two of us just isn't a good plan, plus being a minimum of 50 minutes to medical care (due to the snow that fateful night, it took about 3 hours to get to medical care), made us realize it's time for a move.  Shoulder has not fully recovered from the injury and I'm not sure it ever will.  I still plan on riding, sadly it just won't be as often.  The ride was actually last weekend, just been a little busy and haven't been able to post.  Here's a few photos from the ride.

So many changes...so soon. A lot to swallow I'm sure. I guess one has to look at it like.. turning the page and starting a new chapter....every sunset is followed by a new dawn... Good luck with all the new and different in your lives....the adventure continues! :)

Thank you.  We're trying to look at it that way.  Very stressful times right now.  Only planning on being in the new location for about 6 months to a year and then hopefully finding our permanent location.  A few issues have to be sorted out in that time.
