My wife took this picture of our 2014 Z8 during our ride through St. Clair,  PA over the weekend. My foot was feeling a little heavy,  but I adjust the suspension accordingly and this thing feels like it lands on a pillow.

I tried that last weekend with my z6. All I managed to do was bottom out the shocks and break the reverse sensor off. Might have blown one of the shocks, too.

I'm very impressed with the suspension on this. It lands so nice and I did not bottom out the shocks.  I put zip ties on the piston of the shock to see the amount of travel I use.  Don't be intimidated to make adjustments to the shocks that's why the adjustments are there,  just write down what adjustment you made and the out come,  just make changes to one thing at a time.

The standard z6 only has preload for the shocks. Mine is at max preload. I just need to keep it rubber down.

Sorry took so long to reply so here are my settings as of right now...

Rebound :

Front : turn all the way fast then back of 4 clicks

Rear: turn all the way fast then back off 3 clicks

Compression :

Front: turn all the way left that will be softest setting,  then turn back 4 clicks to the right

Rear : same thing but 5 clicks to the right

Preload:

Rear: from top of shock to the coilover sleeve is 1"

Front: couldn't get a good pic but it's 5/8" from top to sleeve

Tire pressure also helps a ton for the ride I dropped my pressure 5 psi from factory recommended.

This is what works for me I'm still gonna adjust a bit more but I hope this helps,  factory settings are stiff and jarring especially the rear so play around and keep a paper for each adjustment you make
